Design Software Solutions Trading Terms and Conditions
This page sets out the trading terms and conditions for training bookings, software quotations, software purchase and support.
Payment is required at least 14 days prior to commencement of services, or within 14 days of invoice date, whichever is the earlier. Training places are not secured and software will not be shipped unless payment has been received. Should invoices become overdue, we reserve the right to recover all costs relating to recovery of the debt.
Classroom and One to One Training Reservations
If you are unable to attend your booked training session, you need to give us at least 14 days notice and we will do our best to reschedule your session at a mutually convenient time. If you do not wish to reschedule, you will be entitled to a refund of course fees, less an administration fee of £50 plus VAT.
If cancellations are received less than 14 days before the course commences you will not be eligible for a refund.
Where your package includes a number of training days, these must be taken within three months of invoice date.
On-site Training Reservations
On-site company dates are non-cancellable unless otherwise agreed. If you need to cancel your training course, and you are able to give us 14 days notice, then we will transfer your booking to a new, mutually convenient date. If you cancel with less than 14 days notice you may transfer to a new date, however this will attract an administration fee of £150 plus VAT.
In the event of Design Software Solutions having to cancel the course due to circumstances beyond our control, the delegates will be offered an alternative date for the training or a refund of their course fees ONLY. Under no circumstances will Design Software Solutions be liable for any consequential losses
All software quotations are valid within the current calendar month only and for a maximum of 30 days. As software prices have been known to fluctuate outside our control. we reserve the right to withdraw a quotation without notice.
Software quotations are confidential and are for the intended recipient only. Quotations are not transferable.
Software Purchase / Upgrades
All software purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable. It is the responsibliity of the purchaser to ensure that their computer hardware is of a sufficient specification to run the software.
Your statutory rights are unaffected. Subject to the laws of England and Wales.
We are able to accept major credit card purchases, but owing to the charges imposed by the credit card company, we reserve the right to add a small charge (currently 3%). Debit card purchases do not attract an additional charge.
Technical Support queries should be addressed in the first instance to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will endeavour to answer your query as soon as possible. Currently, there is no charge for support, but we do reserve the right to introduce a charging mechanism for support at a later date, or we may recommend further training. Support is centred around "How-to" type questions and is provided on an as-is basis with absolutely no warranty and no liability for consequential losses. Support is available during office hours only (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am until 5:30 pm excluding bank holidays), and when staff are available to respond. We recommend that all customers purchasing Vectorworks consider a Vectorworks Service Select agreement, and that CINEMA 4D customers consider a Maxon Service Agreement.
All training content including training notes, videos, images, slides, books and the content of this web site are the intellectual property of Tamsin Slatter and Design Software Solutions Limited. It is forbidden to copy any of this material in any way. Video materials may not be downloaded, copied or used by anyone other than the registered delegate. Usage is tracked.
