Increasing Print Quality and Reducing Cost

Many of our clients are small to medium sized growing businesses. Many have traditionally outsourced their printing to local copy shops, costing money and time, but of course leaving no room for error when deadlines must be met. Copy shops are, sadly, becoming less prevalent, with many of our rural clients having to travel considerable distances to collect plans.

The decision to bring printing in-house brings with it certain advantages. Firstly, it becomes possible to recover from a mistake at midnight with a 9am deadline! But the most important advantage is the cost of printing. A typical A0 black and white print costs around £2.18 per print (including paper), while a full colour photographic A0 print costs around £3.68 per print, (including paper). Compare this to the cost of outsourcing printing and the savings show that the cost of the printer is recouped within just a few projects.

The high quality print head, which does not need replacing, produces extremely high quality graphics. The printer also features a flat feed which can print on media up to 1.5mm thickness. It can therefore be employed for producing marketing and other graphic materials as well as CAD plans.

Many of our customers use Epson large format printers to print on paper, board, or even canvas to produce high quality visuals.
