Vectorworks 2011 for Architects
Wow what an incredible release this is for Architects! Making the transition to 3D is now easy. Vectorworks 2011 is an exciting new version, packed with more features than ever, including the powerful new CINEMA 4D render engine and easy-to-use 3D environment.
Walls have received an enormous makeover, making a true representation of a walls and floor slabs easy in both 2D, 3D rendered views and sections. End conditions are handled beautifully. The door and window tools have also received a makeover making it much easier to find all the stuff that was already there - so you can easily SEE how to create that completely custom window or door.
Roof faces can now be extended using the Connect and Combine tool allowing Vectorworks to create unique and exciting designs with ease.
The blurring of the boundary between 2D and 3D is a huge leap forward offering much smoother workflows.
Files imported from DWG are smaller and drawings composed of individual lines can be pulled together easily and pulled up (or forward) into a 3D representation with ease. And one of my personal favourites - no more style classes! They are gone, banished forever. Of course, there's much, much more... please give us a call to talk it through or register for the Annual Vectorworks Conference using the link on the right. We look forward to seeing you.
Our Vectorworks Architect training courses are already updated to Vectorworks 2011 and we're ready to get your practice upgraded and making the most of these new features!
