About the Training for Design Team

Adrian

Adrian Slatter is in charge of sales and it his responsibility to package up the very best solution for your design practice. With a background similar to Tamsin's in the corporate world, he loves working in the creative world instead. In fact he has been involved with the world of software for Architecture, Engineering and Construction for over 25 years, about the same length of time as Vectorworks has been around. Adrian is leading the company's initiatives in architecture and BIM, including delivery of CPD BIM seminar/workshops.

Kate

Kate Pearson (BA Hons, PG Dip, OCGD) is qualified in both textile design and residential landscape design having trained with Duncan Heather at the Oxford College of Garden Design.

Having shown a talent for Vectorworks and a talent for teaching, Kate was too good an opportunity to miss so we snapped her up! She trains on Vectorworks, Sketchup, Artlantis and Piranesi. Showcased in the magazine of the Society of Garden Designers and familiar with the design process both inside and outside, Kate is perfectly placed to help you with strong visuals for your client presentations and assist you in moving from paper to screen.

Mark

Mark Mullany, CIAT is an architectural technologist. Mark came from an AutoCAD background, but like all of us, rapidly developed the passion for Vectorworks. Although originally hired to train our building design customers, Mark soon took to all elements of Vectorworks and now teaches across the broad range of design disciplines that Vectorworks supports. Mark loves to learn and spends his non-teaching time learning new tricks with Vectorworks and begging to be allowed to learn CINEMA 4D as soon as possible!

Tammy

Yes, it's very confusing having a Tamsin and a Tammy in the team, but they really are different people! Tammy organises our admin and processes and makes sure we all do as we are told.

Kim

Kim's in charge of the numbers. Without our excellent book-keeper, we would be in danger of thinking we are doing well. Kim loves to bring us back down to earth each week. Kim loves to complain about the office printer, her laptop, the temperature in the office etc. Seriously though, she loves us really, especially as we are about to ditch her PC based accounts system and move her onto the world wide interweb!

Jackie

Jackie Kaas (FD Sc, PGCE) has worked in the IT industry following a similar path to Tamsin. She has a great deal of experience in helping to shape IT systems to a user's specific requirements, whether that be a small business or a large corporation. Prior to her commercial career, Jackie worked as a secondary school teacher.

Friendly and personable, Jackie is a qualified garden designer and a former student of Tamsin Slatter at Sparsholt college. With her excellent blend of personality, teaching and technical skills, Jackie is perfectly placed to help you get up and running fast with Vectorworks.

Jennifer

Jennifer Berry (BA, HNC Hort. and Garden Design) has worked in the Garden Design industry for over 20 years, starting out in a large design/build firm in New York.  A course at John Brookes' School of Garden Design in the 1980’s introduced her to the UK and its glorious plant range. Jennifer uses Vectorworks daily in her design practice and fully appreciates its advantages when trying to meet a deadline or  when wooing a client with 3D views and rendered elevations. She is also on the garden design lecturing team at Sparsholt College.
